Cinnamon Simple Syrup

Cinnamon simple syrup can be used to add natural cinnamon spice flavor to your drinks and cocktails. It’s super easy to make it at home with just a few cinnamon sticks and some sugar.

  • Total Time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: about 1 1/2 cups 1x

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cinnamon sticks

  1. In a large saucepan, combine water and sugar. Bring the liquid to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has dissolved.

  2. Place cinnamon sticks into a mason jar. Pour syrup into the jar to submerge the cinnamon.

  3. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use. Syrup will stay fresh for 2 weeks.
