Hibiscus Pineapple Bourbon Cocktail
Inspired by tropical Hawaiian iced tea, this hibiscus pineapple bourbon cocktail features a beautiful purple hue and a floral and sweet flavor profile with a subtle hint of mint.
Why I love this hibiscus pineapple bourbon cocktail
Normally, I gravitate towards bourbon and whiskeys in the winter months, but lately I’ve been inspired by tiki cocktails so I thought I’d give bourbon a tropical twist while I embrace the warm weather ahead.
My sister recently came back from Hawaii raving about this pineapple hibiscus tea that she had while on vacation, and even though I hadn’t tried it myself, I used it as inspiration for this cocktail.
We already had hibiscus syrup on hand, I paired it with a little pineapple juice and some fresh mint. It was a dreamy combination and it made the most beautiful purple cocktail.
Here’s what you’ll need to make this cocktail
