If you love a whiskey cocktail, you are going to love the Boston sour. It's a whiskey sour with egg white added, which gives it a luxurious and creamy texture while it mellows out the flavor of the sour mix.
- 2 ounces whiskey
- 3/4 ounce lemon juice
- 3/4 ounce simple syrup
- 1 egg white (or 3/4 ounce aquafaba)
- For garnish: orange twist
Add cocktail ingredients to a
shaker without ice.
Cover and dry shake vigorously, until the egg white is frothy.
Add ice and shake again until cold.
Strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with an orange twist.
Feel free to substitute 1 1/2 ounces of homemade sour mix for the lemon juice and simple syrup.
