This unique gin gets it's purple-blue hue from the butterfly pea flowers used in its distillation process and it makes for some gorgeous cocktails. This simple Empress gin cocktail is a vibrant take on a gin sour infused with rosemary simple syrup and dry shaken for a creamy foam finish.
- 2 ounces Empress gin
- 1 ounce lemon juice
- 3/4 ounce honey-rosemary simple syrup
- 1 egg white
- Garnish: orange slice (rosemary sprig)
Add the ingredients to a cocktail shaker without ice. Dry shake for about 30 seconds. Add ice and shake again until cold.
Strain into a cocktail glass filled with ice. Garnish with a dried orange and a sprig of rosemary.
