The floradora cocktail was named after an early 1900's play of the same name starring a a group of six female dancers. The drink, which features gin, raspberry liqueur and ginger beer, was created for them at an after party and caught on quickly.
- 3 - 4 raspberries
- 2 ounces gin
- 3/4 ounce Chambord (or raspberry liqueur)
- 1/2 ounce lime juice
- 2 ounce ginger beer
- For garnish: raspberry (lime wheel)
Combine raspberries, gin, Chambord and lime juice in a cocktail shaker with ice.
Cover and shake until cold.
Double strain the cocktail into a highball glass filled with ice.
Top with ginger beer.
Before serving, garnish with a raspberry and lime wheel.
