- 1 1/2 ounces silver tequila
- 2 ounces limoncello
- 1 1/2 ounces lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- 1 ounce simple syrup
- For the rim: lemon zest (granulated sugar)
- For garnish: lemon slice or wedge
Rim your glasses. Combine sugar and lemon zest on a small plate. Swipe your glass with a lemon wedge and dip it on the plate to coat your glass with lemon sugar. Fill the glass with ice.
Shake your margarita. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and measure the ingredients into the shaker. Cover and shake until cold.
