Pumpkin Rum Punch

This pumpkin rum punch is infused with the sweet, spicy flavors of pumpkin butter, aromatic bitters and balanced by crisp apple cider to create an easy fall cocktail. Served over ice and garnished with fresh nutmeg, it's a simple way to embrace the cozy flavors of autumn.

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces dark rum
  • 1 dash angostura bitters
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin butter
  • 1 1/2 ounces apple cider
  • 1/2 ounce lemon juice
  • For garnish: fresh grated nutmeg (optional)

Instructions

  • Shake your cocktail. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add the rum, pumpkin butter, apple cider, lemon juice and bitters. Cover and shake until nice and cold.
  • Strain over ice. Add a large ice cube to a cocktail glass and strain your cocktail over the ice.
  • Garnish and serve. Grate a little fresh nutmeg on top for garnish. You could also rim your glass with cinnamon sugar if you don't have fresh nutmeg.
