Celebrate the longest night of the year with a tequila solstice, a winter tequila cocktail made with a unique blend of tequila, chili liqueur, and creme de cacao. This spicy, equal parts base is balanced with frothy egg white foam and garnished with a dried orange slice to evoke the spirit of the winter moon.
- 1 ounce tequila
- 1 ounce lime juice
- 1 ounce white creme de cacao
- 1 ounce Ancho Reyes ancho chili liqueur
- 1 egg white
- For garnish: dried orange wheel
Combine tequila, lime juice, creme de cacao, Ancho Reyes and the egg white in a cocktail shaker. Cover and shake util the egg white has become frothy and white.
