Made with fresh summer cantaloupe, sweet agave nectar, tangy lime, orange liqueur and silver tequila, these frozen melon margaritas are sure to help you beat the heat this summer. Rimmed with a blend of sugar and salt to bring out all of its flavors, these cantaloupe margaritas are blended until smooth and garnished with fresh lime and melon balls.
- 4 cups frozen cantaloupe pieces
- 2 ounces lime juice
- 2 ounces orange liqueur
- 6 ounces silver tequila
- 2 ounces agave nectar
- 1 cup ice
Using a lime wedge, rim 3 glasses with a mixture of sugar and salt. Set aside or chill if possible.
Combine ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
Divide the margaritas between prepared glasses.
Garnish with lime and a melon balls skewer, or a slice of cantaloupe.
