If you love a grapefruit paloma or a classic margarita, you're going to love this unique Mexican cocktail. Cantaritos are made with a blend of citrus juices, tequila and grapefruit soda served in a traditional clay pot, or cantarito de barro.
- 2 ounces tequila
- 1 1/2 ounce orange juice
- 1 ounce grapefruit juice
- 1 ounce lime juice
- 2 ounces grapefruit soda
- For garnish: citrus slices (chile lime seasoning)
Rim glass with chile lime seasoning. Set aside.
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add tequila, orange juice, grapefruit juice and lime juice. Cover and shake until cold.
Strain into a cantarito glass filled with ice and top with grapefruit soda.
Garnish with a citrus slice, or two. Serve immediately.
