Named after the iconic American author, the Hemingway Daiquiri is a sophisticated blend of white rum, lime and grapefruit juice, with a touch of maraschino liqueur. This classic cocktail is also known as the Hemingway special or the Papa Doble, but regardless of it’s name, this drink is the perfect balance of tart and sweet.
- 2 ounces white rum
- 3/4 ounce lime juice
- 1/2 ounce maraschino liqueur
- 1/2 ounce grapefruit juice
- For garnish: lime wheel
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add the cocktail ingredients. Cover and shake until cold, about 30 seconds.
Strain into a chilled coupe glass and garnish with a lime wheel before serving.
