This sweet and spicy Mexican candy shot is inspired by traditional tangy candy sprinkled with chilies. These simple shots are made with sour watermelon liqueur and tequila with a splash of hot sauce, served in a shot glass rimmed with chili lime seasoning.
- 1 1/2 ounces tequila
- 1 1/2 ounces sour watermelon liqueur
- 2 - 4 dashes of hot sauce
- For garnish: lime wedge (chili lime seasoning, such as Tajin)
Swipe the rim of each shot glass with a lime wedge and dip it into the chili seasoning to coat. Set aside.
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the tequila and watermelon liqueur. Cover and shake until cold.
Strain into prepared shot glasses and serve.
