- 2 oz Irish whiskey
- 3/4 oz honey simple syrup
- 3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
- a pinch of edible gold glitter (optional)
- Lemon twist (for garnish)
Combine honey and water in a large saucepan over medium high heat. Bring ingredients to a boil then reduce to medium low. Simmer until honey and water have combined well (it will look like oil and water until it is combined well).
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add remaining ingredients and shake until well chilled, or about 30 seconds.
Strain and serve with a lemon twist over ice.
