Made with maple syrup, pumpkin puree and a hint of pumpkin spice, these pumpkin margaritas are a fall-inspired twist on the classic tequila cocktail. It's practically made for Thanksgiving dinner, but still feels seasonally appropriate when September hits.
- 2 ounce tequila
- 1 ounce triple sec
- 3/4 ounce lime juice
- 1/2 ounce maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree
- 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- For garnish: cinnamon sugar
Prep your glass. Swipe the rim of your glass with a lime wedge and dip the glass in cinnamon sugar. Fill with ice and set aside.
Shake your cocktail. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add the drink ingredients. Cover and shake until cold - at least 30 seconds.
Strain and serve. Double strain into the prepared glass and garnish with a dried orange wheel and/or cinnamon stick.
