- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 2 1/2 cups chopped rhubarb
In a large saucepan, bring water to a boil.
Stir in sugar, stirring until sugar has dissolved.
Remove from heat and stir in chopped rhubarb.
Allow rhubarb to steep in hot syrup for 15-20 minutes.
Remove rhubarb pieces and transfer to an airtight container for storage.
