Orgeat Syrup

Orgeat is a sweet and nutty syrup that’s made from almonds, sugar, and rose and orange blossom water. This creamy syrup has a really unique taste to it, but can be tedious to make at home. My recipe for orgeat syrup uses an easy-to-make hack that will get you there in no time.

  • Total Time: 2 minutes
  • Yield: 16 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon orange blossom water
  • 1/4 teaspoon rose water
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 teaspoon vodka

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, stir the almond milk and sugar together. Heat over medium until the sugar is dissolved, stirring as needed.
  2. Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients.
  3. Transfer to a mason jar or bottle and refrigerate until ready to use.
