Why I love these lemon margaritas
A lot of Italian margarita recipes out there take inspiration from the Olive Garden’s Italian margarita that uses amaretto, but I thought it might be fun to try something totally different.
By using limoncello, rather than Cointreau or triple sec like you’d use in a traditional margarita, you enhance the lemons which results in a more intense lemon flavor that’s really refreshing and perfect for warmer weather

Frequently asked questions
What is Limoncello?
Limoncello is a delicious Italian liqueur with a sweet lemon flavor.
Does Limoncello go bad?
It is said to lose its flavor if left unrefrigerated even after 1 week, so it wouldn’t be a bad idea to keep it in the fridge to enjoy its full flavor.
Why does limoncello freeze?
While most alcohol will not freeze, limoncello will become slightly frozen in the freezer. It will turn into a slush due to the lower alcohol content.
