Limoncello Spritz

The limoncello spritz is a simple, refreshing cocktail that combines zesty limoncello liqueur with crisp, effervescent prosecco and club soda. Garnished with a lemon wheel to bring out its beautiful yellow hues, this light Italian cocktail is a delightful balance of citrus and sweet that’s just made for summer sipping.

why you’ll love this drink:

This limoncello spritz is the ultimate warm-weather cocktail. It’s incredibly easy to make, but still feels fancy enough to impress your guests. Light, sweet, and super refreshing, it’s perfect for summer holidays, backyard barbecues, or just lounging by the pool with something citrusy in hand.

Ingredients & Substitutions

  • Prosecco – This Italian sparkling wine pairs perfectly with limoncello, but you can substitute any slightly sweet sparkling wine.
  • Limoncello – This one of a kind liqueur has the best sweet lemon flavor around. We would not recommend swapping this out.
  • Club soda – You can skip this or add a bit more prosecco if you prefer, however this adds a bit more bubbly without altering the flavor of the cocktail.

Making changes to a recipe can result in recipe failure. Any substitutions listed below are simple changes that I believe will work in this recipe, but results are not guaranteed.
